Commissioning Duties Included:

·   Review of 65% and 95% complete drawings and specifications for conformance with USACE/ Base DPW          requirements.

·   Submittal review for conformance with Specifications and owner requirements.

·   Witnessed performance testing of system during and after construction. 

Construction Inspection Duties included:

·   Monitored all Building Division activities for contractor quality controls to assure work was being completed per approved project drawings and specifications. 

·   Inspector Daily Reports entered into USACE RMS / QCS construction software.

·   Performed daily Safety inspections in conformance with EM 385.

MDOT Port Administration Agency Wide Substructure repairs: $4.6M in structural crane beam, concrete pile and bollard repair/ replacements including galvanic protection systems

 

Constellation (Exelon) Energy Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Facility: $1M self-perform emergency structural repairs to a sheet pile retaining wall including excavation and installation of helical anchors to support wall during replacing of tie-rods and a complete concrete encapsulation of the front of the wall to prevent tie-rod failure.

 

Hess Baltimore Marine Terminal: $887K self-perform structural repairs including underwater pile repairs, under deck concrete and structural steel repairs and sheet pile wall additional tie-rod installation.

NuStar Energy: $420K project consisting of a self- perform steel pile dolphin and Marine fender replacement project for NuStar Energy in Dumfries, VA

 

Corman Construction Sr. Project Engineer Projects:

Masonville Vessel Berth Project for the Maryland Department of Transportation (Port Administration). $20 million project consisting of building a new vessel berth for unloading cargo ships including existing relieving platform demo, mechanical dredging, driving several hundred pile ( H pile and concrete pile), building new concrete wharf and Roll-on Roll-off platform, and installing infrastructure to the facility including water, storm and electrical as well as concrete and asphalt paving.

 

ARGO/ Army Corps Quality Assurance Projects:

·   Aberdeen Proving Ground, C4ISR Center of Excellence.  LEED Silver Project. 90,000 + sf Integration Facility Center.  Beginning September 2010. Quality Assurance Representative responsible for monitoring construction activities for conformance with contract requirements. Primarily involved with concrete foundations, utility tie-installation/ relocations, loading dock construction, asphalt roads and other site features. 

 

·   Aberdeen Proving Ground, C4ISR Center of Excellence.  LEED Silver Project.  95,000 + sf Joint SATCOM Engineering Center.  Beginning April 2010. Quality Assurance Representative responsible for monitoring construction activities for conformance with contract requirements highlighted with a geothermal HVAC system and structural satellite configuration.

 

·   Aberdeen Proving Ground, C4ISR Center of Excellence.  LEED Silver, Design/Build Project. 70,000 + sf Building G Education Center.  Beginning November 2009. Sole Quality Assurance Representative responsible for monitoring construction of all Building Divisions activities for conformance with contract requirements highlighted with a geothermal HVAC system, innovative roofing systems and structural pre-cast shell system.

 

·   Aberdeen Proving Ground, C4ISR Center of Excellence.  LEED Silver Project. 600,000 + sf C2/CNT East Office Building.  September 2009 to November 2009. Monitored construction of foundations, slabs on grade/deck and underground utilities for conformance with contract requirements.

 

Kinsley Project Manager Projects:

·   Maryland SHA I70 South Mountain Waste Water Treatment Facility Upgrade.  $3 million project including demo of existing sewer treatment plant and installation of new treatment facility with SCADA and telemetry functions.  Included commissioning of new systems and training of owner maintenance personnel.

 

·   Maryland SHA I70 Welcome Centers.  LEED Silver, Design/Build Project.  $7.75 million Design Build project for SHA including demo of existing structures and potable water system with SCADA and telemetry functions.  Functioned as the Civil Design Review Manager and Civil Construction Project Manager. 

 

·   Maryland SHA District 4 Office Building LEED Silver, Design/Build Project.  $2 million Design Build Office building for SHA including HDPE fusion water line and directional drilled sewer under MTA Light Rail.  Functioned as the Civil Design Review Manager and Civil Construction Project Manager. 

 

·   Honeygo Crossings – 3 lot commercial development.  $2.2 million site development contract including directional drilled HDPE force main sewer and State Highway widening

 

·   Northwest Hospital - Parking lot renovation and addition.  

$2.3 million in parking lot renovations and additions.

 

·   St. Paul’s School for Girl’s Athletic Field.

$580,000 contract including grading for turf field installation, installation of asphalt trail, ornamental fence, brick pier perimeter and 3 retaining walls.

$800,000 contract for grading for turf field and track including sub-base drainage system.
